These are the yummiest cookies, perfectly soft on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outer edges.

Ingredients:

2¼ cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp salt
1 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup skor bits (optional, if you just want chocolate chip cookies, skip this and use 2 cups of chocolate chips instead of 1 1/2 cups)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together your butter and sugar until it’s light and fluffy, approximately 5 minutes. Add in the eggs and
vanilla, beat until well combined. Beat in the flour, baking soda and salt and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips and skor bits and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula. Again, the skor is optional, I thought it added a great toffee flavour, but this recipe is a fantastic chocolate chip cookie recipe as well. Just skip the skor bits and use 2 cups of chocolate chips.

Using your hands make ping pong sized balls of dough and place on a baking sheet, make sure they are well spread out because these cookies spread. Bake at 350 for approximately 10 minutes, until barely brown and slightly underdone. Let cool a little but they taste wonderful slightly warm.
