This pull apart monkey bread is so easy to make and I guarantee it will not last long, everyone will want to get their hands on this gooey masterpiece.

Ingredients:
For the Monkey Bread:
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (I used the Pillsbury one that comes in a tube, they're pre-cut and make your job a lot easier)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (use salted if you want a salted caramel taste or unsalted if you'd prefer a sweeter taste)

For the Cream Cheese Icing:
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
For the Monkey Bread:
Preheat oven to 350 F.

rease a loaf pan or fluted tube pan and set aside (you can really use any oven safe dish you like, you just get different shapes, you can even make these in muffin tins for individual Monkey Bread).

Remove the biscuit dough from the tube and cut each piece into 4 pieces.

In a small bowl mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Roll each quartered biscuit dough into the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated all around. Place in your greased pan and continue with all your biscuit dough. This doesn't have to be neat but remember to only fill your pan half-way because the biscuit dough will rise.
In a sauce pan melt the butter over medium heat, add the brown sugar and mix. Allow the mixture to come to a boil and continue to simmer for 1 minute after it comes to a boil.

Pour over the biscuit dough, trying to cover everything as evenly as you can.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes or until the biscuit dough has risen and browned. Remove from oven allow to cool for 5 minutes then invert onto a serving plate and serve while it's hot. You can have it just like this or kick it up a notch with the cream cheese dipping sauce.
For the Cream Cheese Icing:
In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer cream together the cream cheese and butter. Add the powdered sugar and continue to beat until everything is nice and smooth. Add the milk in a steady stream while beating the mixture until you get to the desired consistency. Because this is a dipping sauce it should be thinner than regular frosting but it shouldn't be overly runny.

It's as simple as that, now you have a fantastic dipping sauce for your Monkey Bread, or pretzels, or anything else you can think of.
